Empower Tehama (formerly Alternatives to Violence) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting healthy relationships and social change in the community through education, intervention and responsive services designed to inspire personal transformation. Located in Tehama County, Empower Tehama is committed to providing crucial social services that empower and support its residents, thereby strengthening and enriching the community as a whole.

Empower Tehama’s mission is to promote healthy relationships and social change in our community. Breaking the cycle of violence that affects the entire community begins with empowering individuals to make healthy and safe choices for themselves and those around them.
