Tehama 211

2-1-1 Tehama is the comprehensive information and referral service for Tehama County. It connects callers and website users with information about local health and human services, ranging from basic needs to recreation (many of which are free or low cost). 2-1-1 calls are answered by trained Call Specialists who are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

PATH

PATH strives to end homelessness by providing emergency shelter and housing options to individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Tehama County.


Community Action Agency

The Tehama County Community Action Agency (TCCAA) provides services to help alleviate poverty in Tehama County. These services include advocacy, the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, housing assistance, and resource referrals to local non-profits.

Tehama County Social Services

Tehama County Department of Social Services (TCDSS) provides multiple assistance programs to support families. These programs include cash aid (CalWORKs), Medi-Cal, CalFresh benefits (formerly food stamps), General Assistance, and the County Medical Services Program (CMSP). TCDSS also works to protect children, the elderly, and disabled community members.


Tehama County Health Services Agency

The Tehama County Health Services Agency is committed to promoting a healthy community through health education, prevention, assessment, early intervention, and treatment, with follow-ups when necessary.

Shasta CARES Program

Shasta CARES is a collaboration dedicated to uprooting interpersonal violence in our community. It provides campus advocacy, resources, and education for safety.
