Candlelight Walk kicks off October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month across the nation!
Join us on Wednesday, October 2nd at 7 PM at the Historic Courthouse lawn on Washington Street to remember those whose lives have been lost to domestic violence, support those wanting to leave an abusive relationship and celebrate those who have survived, no longer living in fear. Candles and glow sticks (for children) will be provided. The entire event lasts one hour.
Bring your friends and family to stand with those who have been impacted by domestic violence in a moving ceremony and brief walk.
Light refreshments will be available after the walk. For more information call (530) 528-0226 or email jennifer@empowertehama.org.
